Legal bases under Art. 6 GDPR

Special categories of personal data under Art. 9 (1) GDPR are only processed where explicit consent has been given or where processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.

We ensure the security of the data in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR through appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Should a personal data breach occur, the competent supervisory authority will be notified in accordance with Art. 33 GDPR and the data subject in accordance with Art. 34 GDPR.

This privacy policy applies to our websites only. If links on our pages take you to other websites, please refer to the information provided there on how your data is handled.

Storage period of personal data

The data you transmit is retained for as long as required by the statutory retention obligations.

Disclosure of data to third parties

Data transmitted in the context of the contractual relationship is only disclosed to third parties if you have given your express consent or if disclosure is necessary in order to perform the contract.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without any particular form.

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

After your consent we load Google Tag Manager and, through it, Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Usage data and your shortened IP address are processed in order to analyse how the website is used. A transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG. Without consent nothing is loaded and no connection to Google is established.

Microsoft Clarity

Also only after your consent we use Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Dublin, Ireland). Clarity evaluates clicks, scrolling behaviour and page views in pseudonymous form in order to improve usability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG.

Google reCAPTCHA in the contact form

Our contact form is protected against automated submissions by Google reCAPTCHA v3. The service is only loaded once you start typing in the form - simply reading the page does not trigger any connection to Google. When you submit the form, your IP address and interaction data are transmitted to Google and evaluated there. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing spam and abuse, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are stored on our own server and delivered from there. No connection to Google is established and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.

Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically collects information such as browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name and the time of the request. This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals.

Further topics

Master data is stored and used solely for the performance of the contract and is not disclosed without consent.

Newsletter, contact form, review system, share buttons, credit checks and PayPal - all details are covered in the respective sections, including links to the privacy policies of the providers concerned.

SSL connection / data security

Our website uses SSL encryption. In addition we apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
