Fan Scarf: Knitted or Printed?

Knitted or printed – the key question for any fan scarf. Knitted scarves are higher quality, more durable and colored on both sides; printed scarves are cheaper for very small runs but look less premium. We exclusively produce knitted fan scarves.

A printed scarf can be useful for single pieces or very short-term campaigns. But when the scarf is sold, given to members or worn over several seasons, knit quality pays off: the feel is more substantial and the colors remain stable with regular use.

For knitted production, designs should be a little clearer than for print. Large lettering, strong contrasts and reduced color areas help club name, crest and year stay legible even from a distance.

Tips for your artwork

When comparing knitted and printed scarves, start with the intended use. For clubs, fan groups and recurring events, a knitted scarf is usually the more premium choice because motif and colors become part of the material.
